Product quality is a major priority at Emile Noël. We do everything in our power to offer our consumers and our clients the very best of products. And this means precise controls and impeccable organisation internally.
This is how we have developed and in-house laboratory/R&D function at the heart of our company.
The team of five people carried out an internal monitoring plan updated every six months, following the latest French and European regulatory developments and according to supplies and market trends.
The product is monitored throughout its manufacturing process, from the raw material sample before purchase, to the storage of the finished product.
The Quality Management and Regulatory Affairs departments originate and create all documents associated with quality and traceability: certificates (organic, non-allergenic), declarations (non-GMO, non-ionisation), technical data sheets, analysis bulletins etc.
R&D is also carried out by our laboratory through various activities: physico-chemical understanding of our oils, optimisation of our manufacturing processes, formulation, the study of new raw materials and the development of new products.
Taste is an essential criterion for a product to be approved at Emile Noël.
That is why we have set up a team of tasters, who taste a sample of olive oils every week under the leadership of the head of the judging panel.
They carry out blind tastings to evaluate the organoleptic characteristics of each product in order to determine its category.
All our oils are subject to the internal monitoring plan set up by the laboratory.
