Mali was one of the first markets established by the Emile Noël oil mill through sesame seed cultivation in the 1980s. Building on this shared history with the country, the mill created its own foundation in 2014, the EMILE NOËL MALI FOUNDATION, to ensure the continuation of its partnerships. Today, 13 people work at the foundation. They monitor agricultural activities, support producers, and regularly organize training sessions. Their role also includes ensuring compliance with organic farming standards to guarantee the quality and traceability of the seeds produced.
